Enkata Appoints Industry Veteran David Stamm as President and Chief Executive Officer

CRM Visionary to Lead Performance Management Company

October 24, 2006

Enkata, a leading provider of Operational Performance Management (OPM) solutions, today announced the appointment of David Stamm as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Stamm, an industry veteran and founder of leading edge companies Clarify and Daisy Systems, joins Enkata with the proven record of recognizing companies positioned to succeed in rising market opportunities.

“It is the right time for companies like Enkata. The enterprise software market has been saturated for the past seven years, but now, service organizations are ready for the next generation of products,” said David Stamm, president and chief executive officer, Enkata. “With its unique combination of operational applications and strong analytics, Enkata is well placed for the future of performance management software delivered as a service.”

In 1990, Stamm founded Clarify, which in 1994 became the first public company in what is now known as CRM. Since Clarify was acquired by Nortel Inc. (NYSE:NT) in March of 2000, Stamm has held several Board of Director positions at technology companies, as well as serving on the advisory boards of several venture capital funds. Prior to founding Clarify, Stamm co-founded Daisy Systems in 1980, a pioneer in the electronic design automation industry.
