Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will be an expert with respect to market requirements, competition and market trends to drive development of analytics-powered products that generate sales results. Requires significant cross-functional collaboration, particularly with marketing, sales and product engineering.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead marketing requirements gathering process, write MRDs/epic user stories and refine product requirements for new products and key enhancements
  • Perform competitive analysis
  • Research markets in order to provide the company with detailed needs analysis
  • Meet with key customers to understand usage of company's products and services
  • Develop sales enablement tools including software demos, collateral, webinars, white papers, etc.
  • Assist with product advisory groups

Skills

  • Minimum 3-7 years experience in enterprise CRM or analytics software, with a minimum 2-4 years of product management/marketing
  • Experience with contact center market preferred
  • Solid understanding of market research fundamentals
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum development methodology (experience as product owner preferred)
  • Organized, process oriented, yet flexible
  • Demonstrated ability to translate market analysis into actionable business strategies
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Must be a self starter that is comfortable working in a start-up paced software company
