Enkata is searching for a hands-on, outbound marketer that has experienced success in enterprise or contact center software sales to assist us in our efforts to aggressively gain share in the hot on demand Performance Management category.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for executing marketing strategies to improve Enkata's market presence and sales effectiveness. This role will be the source of market knowledge and sales tools for field and inside sales and a key contributor for delivering the company's value proposition to customers and prospects. This is a multi-faceted position for the results-oriented marketer who excels at strategic thinking while delivering effective tactical execution of sales enablement and outbound communication deliverables.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate on company and product positioning and messaging
Develop sales enablement strategies and materials that effectively articulate Enkata's value proposition and proof points
Build an expert understanding of Enkata's competitors and their product lines, and knowledge of how to sell against them
Create go-to-market internal and external collateral, including FAQs, vertical-specific emails, case studies, white papers, media kits, social media, demos and webcasts
Qualifications:
Minimum 7-10 years experience in the enterprise software industry in a mix of start-up and larger companies, with a minimum 4-6 years of corporate, field or product marketing
Experience marketing into contact center market preferred
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to translate market analysis into actionable business strategies
Organized, process oriented, yet flexible; comfortable shifting quickly between strategic and tactical modes of work
Must be a self starter that is comfortable working in a dynamic, start-up paced software company
MBA degree preferred
