Sales Director

Position Summary

The sales director should be experienced in enterprise level software sales and familiar with contact center operations in order to assist us in our efforts to aggressively increase our customer base.  This position can be based in Atlanta, Dallas or Chicago.  Your main responsibilities will include acquiring new clients, managing client requirements, and negotiating large deals with companies.  You will also be required to prospect, present effectively, demonstrate solution-selling skills and effectively manage your pre-sales account executive to ensure prospects turn into actual customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts and create individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts
  • Present products and services to new corporate accounts
  • Set goals for annual revenue achievement against each prospective account
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report
  • Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
  • Monitor and report sales activities within the system
  • Ensure customer issues are acknowledged and resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown

Qualifications include:

  • Experience selling into contact center executive management
  • Experience in selling high value ($500k and above), long lead time enterprise solutions software
  • Proven track record with emerging company
  • Proven new business development skills
  • Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding customer-focused account management skills
  • Demonstrated sales track record with large financial services, telecoms, health insurance, utilities, retail or high-tech companies
  • Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred
  • 8-10+ years of enterprise software sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Extensive travel required
